Nasal & Sinus Disorders
Several symptoms suggest nasal and sinus disease including facial pain, nasal congestion, postnasal drainage, runny nose and sneezing. There are many conditions that cause nasal and sinus symptoms including:
- Allergic rhinitis (a.k.a. hay fever)
- Sinus infection
- Nasal or sinus polyps
- Deviated nasal septum
- Tumors
We offer allergy testing and treatment as well as treatment of complicated nasal and sinus infections. Polyps or anatomic deformities such as a deviated nasal septum can be corrected with elective outpatient surgery. Chronic sinus disease may also be corrected with outpatient surgery aimed at correcting defective sinus openings into the nasal cavity.
Nosebleeds are another common nasal complaint. We perform simple in-office nasal cauterization to control frequent nosebleeds.
